YEJOS B&B (TWO ARMS)

Whether you're a guest at the bed & breakfast or just visiting the community, this family-owned business offers a variety of food options including typical Costa Rican cuisine as well as fresh fruits and vegetables. Advance reservations are preferred, though not required.

Location : 500 meters east of the school on the right arm of the Tigre River

WESTER (TWO ARMS)

WESTER is a recently opened restaurant and pizzeria located in downtown Dos Brazos open Tuesday through Sunday from 12:30 to 8:00 pm Its menu consists of a variety of dishes ranging from $2 to $8 USD, including pizza (sold per slice or full pie), hamburgers, hot dogs, fries, sausages, fruit plates, milkshakes, and coffee.

Location : Dos Brazos Community Center/ 100 meters west of the school

THE TICA SPOON (AMAZONITE, TWO ARMS)

Enjoy typical Costa Rican cuisine and international wines in a family atmosphere. Only by reservation. We kindly ask you to make your reservation no later than the day before for breakfast and in the morning for lunch or dinner. Breakfast - $8 USD/ Lunch - $12 USD/ Dinner - $15 USD (Price for lunch and dinner does not include drinks).

BM SUPERMARKET (PUERTO JIMENEZ)

The BM Supermarket is one of the largest supermarket chains in the southern region of Costa Rica. Popular with locals and tourists alike, the BM Supermarket offers a huge selection of produce, from meats and vegetables to wines and spirits, and an impressive array of toiletries and packaged goods.​​ branded. If you plan to cook meals yourself or forgot a few items at home, it's definitely worth a stop here to find what you need during your stay. The BM Supermarket accepts cash and credit card.

Location : A 5-minute walk from the Puerto Jiménez soccer fields along the main road; One block north of the National Bank

PALI SUPERMARKET (PUERTO JIMENEZ)

The Pali Supermarket is another supermarket chain located in Puerto Jiménez. Although product offerings are a bit more limited than BM Supermarket, Pali often offers packaged goods at lower prices. Pali accepts cash and credit card.

Location : on the right side of the Blanco Lobo bus terminal in Puerto Jiménez

FRUIT AND VEGETABLE MARKET (PUERTO JIMENEZ)

The local fruit and vegetable stand is a family run business that stocks up with a variety of fresh produce daily. If you are looking to try some local tropical fruits or enjoy some ripe vegetables, this is the place to go for great quality at a bargain price! The market accepts cash and credit card.

Location: On a side street, one block before Banco Nacional (if you have trouble finding the store, ask any local for "Verduleria" and they will be able to point you in the right direction!)

PULPERIA EL TOUCAN  AND PULPERIA EL CAYMAN (TWO ARMS)

Pulperías is the traditional name for a small general store here in Costa Rica. Dos Brazos has two pulperias in town that offer a variety of snacks, refreshing drinks, and a few key staples in case you forgot something in Puerto Jimenez. Both stores only accept cash, so be sure to stop by the bank before heading to Dos Brazos.

Location - Pulpería El Toucan: In the center of town in front of the Dos Brazos school (closed on Sundays) ​

Location - Pulpería El Cayman: 200 meters north of the Tourist Office along the left arm of the Tigre River

If you are looking to prepare your own food during your trip, we recommend you buy your groceries in Puerto Jiménez before arriving in Dos Brazos. While there are a few small pulperías here in Dos Brazos, the grocery stores in Puerto Jiménez offer a much greater variety of products to prepare complete meals.

Will you be on the go during your vacation? You may be walking through nature, but that doesn't mean you have to compromise what you eat in the process! We offer traditional Costa Rican casado meals wrapped in banana leaves for 3000 CRC ($6 USD) that can be delivered to the start of your tour and eaten on the go!
